Safety and Security

    It is important to us that our residents feel safe, secure and well cared for.  Our care centers are protected with approved fire safety and alarm equipment and a generator for emergency power.  For safety and health reasons our care centers are smoke-free.  Our staff will assist residents who smoke to designated outside areas.  Our residents benefit from strict safety and security measures.  Common areas are monitored by security cameras and all doors except the main entrance are locked by 8:30 p.m.  We are equipped with Wanderguard® monitoring to alert staff when a resident who wanders is near to an exit or exits the facility.  We have a wireless call light system which provides staff with an immediate signal when a resident needs assistance.  When residents want to enjoy our outdoor areas they are provided with a pendant to signal staff of their needs. Staff also carry personal communication devices in order to communicate residents needs and request assistance.
